About the DiGA Directory

What this site shows

diga-verzeichnis.de shows all digital health applications (DiGAs) that BfArM has listed in its official DiGA directory – sorted by condition, with the price statutory health insurance pays, platforms and app store ratings. We also list DiGAs that BfArM has removed from the directory. We are not the official directory; diga.bfarm.de is authoritative.

We have been developing mobile software since 2012 and software as a medical device since 2019. Our quality management is certified to ISO 13485. In July 2026, DUX became the first company to receive a BSI certificate under TR-03185 “Secure Software Lifecycle” for its development process (BSI press release, German).

Disclosure

With the mHealth Suite, DUX Healthcare develops and operates a technical and regulatory platform for building and running DiGAs. Some manufacturers whose DiGAs appear here are customers or business partners of DUX. This has no influence on selection, order or presentation: the same rules apply to all DiGAs, and there are no paid listings or placements.

Data sources and updates

BfArM DiGA directory (status, prices, indications; descriptions are provided by the manufacturers), ICD-10-GM (BfArM) and ICD-10 (WHO) for diagnosis names, Apple App Store and Google Play for ratings.

The data is synced automatically every day; the date of the last update is shown at the bottom of every page.

Methodology

Categories follow the DiGAs’ ICD-10 diagnoses; indication groups are combined editorially. DiGA lists by category, condition and manufacturer are sorted alphabetically, the cost overview by price. The ranking of the best-rated DiGAs weights the star rating by the number of ratings: apps with few ratings move closer to the average of all DiGAs. “New DiGAs” are sorted by the date BfArM listed them. If several DiGAs share one app in the store, its rating applies to all of them, and the app appears only once in rating rankings. English descriptions are machine-translated – the German original is authoritative.
